The most fun thing in the last three weeks was Jan's visit on September 9.  We had dinner at Houston's and got to celebrate her new fulltime lab job on campus.  Wish she could have stayed longer but the new job started the following Monday.  Weekends are precious when work consumes five whole days! 

Saddest day was when we had to have Shahza put to sleep.  She was 17 and only 5 pounds and sick. But still, it was so awful to have to say goodbye to her.  She loved everybody and had the cutest stubborn streak.  I still miss her.

In other news we are about to try satellite TV instead of cable.
